a brief introduction

hello.

welcome.

this is the first text file in a new series of board game content. it is not as feature-rich as what some other content creators are making, i know, but my hope is that it can be at least as elegant as some of my favorite content creators. the content is all text, so fear not... you are not going to be attacked by some overbearing javascript beast (or ads!).

so, what exactly is this? by and large, it is a brain dump of thoughts i have regarding tabletop games i have played. at times, it will be discussion of strategy. at other times, i will be viewing a game's theme in contrast to the real world as i see it.

i want this to be a constructive creative outlet for myself, but i'm not opposed to others contributing thoughts on this, by any means. a lot of the joy of board games, for me, at least, comes from the discussion and communal exploration of a game.
